Classroom based, face to face in a small group with a tutor.

Cost: £870 plus CPCAB registration fee £189

Attendance: 90% minimum face-to-face presence

Age: 19+

Previous qualifications: Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

Why Study CST-L3 at BGTC?

This qualification provides access to those who  subsequently wish to train as professional counsellors. It looks in detail at different counselling theories in addition to developing the skills and competencies to work ethically in a placement. 

Our students engage in practical exercises and role play, developing self-awareness and empathy, learning to read body language, understanding ethics and boundaries, working with prejudice or stereotypes, giving and receiving feedback and taking part in group work and discussions.
